What is SEER Rating? |
SEER is an acronym for Seasonal Energy Efficiency Ratio.
A SEER rating measures how efficient a cooling system is by evaluating its cooling output in relation to the electricity it consumes over a specific period, typically a season. Depending on the brand, SEER ratings typically range from 13 to 25. Basically, it is a standard HVAC metric that will tell you how well your air conditioner will perform during the summer season. The higher the SEER rating, the more efficient the system. |
